NVQ Level 3 Diploma Womens & Mens Hairdressing
Full Time Course & Full Time Apprenticeships (16-18 Years)
This is a rolling course therefore students can join this course every six weeks. For students with hairdressing experience of a minimum level 2 standard. Leading to an internationally recognised qualification, this course is specifically designed to provide students with the necessary practical and theoretical skills to either work in a salon, or become a freelance hairdresser.
Our specialist in house training programme is taught by qualified tutors who incorporate theory work, special projects, demonstrations and hands-on workshops. Working alongside hairdressing experts in a busy salon you will cover all aspects of hairdressing including, cutting, styling, technical and perming techniques. You will learn about health and safety, customer care, retail and reception. Your tutor will guide you through the stages of the course and monitor your personal progress. All necessary equipment, styling tools and manuals are provided. Throughout the course you will have your own clients this will enable you to build a portfolio of all your work, consisting of photographic evidence and practical assignments. You will be assessed in both theory and practical areas throughout this course. You will practice on members of the public throughout this course.
Students are required to bring in a camera to take photos during this course as part of their portfolio of evidence for assessment purposes. The units are selected on the basis individual students requirements.
